Scanned the code?
You’re invited. Here’s how.
You take photos right in your browser, with no app and no account. Your photos are shared with everyone the next day.

In three steps
From scan to gallery.
Takes less than a minute. Then your phone goes back in your pocket and you’re back at the party.
Scan and enter your name
With your phone’s normal camera. The link opens the event camera in your browser. Then enter your name so the others can see later who took which picture. Agree to the terms once and allow camera access, done.
Start snapping
Your film has a fixed number of shots, set by the host. No preview, no deleting. Every shot counts, so think for a second and press at the right moment.
See the gallery
At the reveal, usually the morning after, the gallery opens. Download your own pictures or all of them in original quality, for 90 days.
Good to know
What happens to your pictures.
- Tonight
Secret until the morning
Before the reveal the server won’t hand out a single picture – not to you and not to the host.
- When your film is full
Email only if you want
It’s only used to send you the gallery link. Everything works just as well without it.
- Tomorrow morning
The gallery opens
For everyone at once, with the originals in full quality, not downsized – unless the host keeps the gallery to themselves.
- After 90 days
Deleted automatically
Download your favourite shots in time. More on this under Your photos & privacy.
Nothing to download
No app needed.
Everything runs in the browser. If you already have the Filmriss app, scanning takes you straight into it and you can use that instead.
Get the app anyway
Optional. Handy if you’re planning an event of your own one day: events are created in the app, for iOS and Android.
The camera won’t open.
Your browser needs permission to use the camera. Allow access when prompted or in your browser’s site settings, then reload the page. Filmriss only asks for the camera – not the microphone or your location.
Why can’t I see my photo?
That’s part of the fun: just like a disposable camera, the film gets developed first. Until the reveal nobody sees a picture, not even the person who took it.
My film is full. What now?
Then you’re done snapping. If you like, leave an email address and you’ll get the gallery link as soon as it opens.
Do I need the app?
No. Everything runs in the browser. If you have the Filmriss app, you can use that instead.
