Occasion · Birthday · Free

The digital disposable camera for your birthday.

Whether it’s your 18th, 30th or 80th: your guests scan a QR code and shoot with limited film. The morning after the party every photo is in one gallery – instead of scattered across twenty phones.

  • Guests don’t need an app
  • Original quality
  • 90-day gallery

How it works · Birthday

Three steps, zero effort on the day itself.

  1. 01Frame 1/3

    Create the event

In the app: the party’s name, a cover and when the gallery opens. For birthdays, the morning after works well.

  2. 02Frame 2/3

    Share the code

QR code at the bar, on the mirror or as a link in the invitation group chat. Guests take photos in the browser, no account needed.

  3. 03Gallery open

    Unwrap it together

The morning after, the gallery opens for everyone at once – almost like a second present.

You choose when the reveal happens – by default it’s 10 am the morning after.

Photo ideas for your guests

Ten photo ideas for the birthday party.

Put them on the table card, in the invitation or announce them on the day.

  1. The birthday girl or boy blowing out the candles
  2. The guest who’s known the birthday girl or boy the longest
  3. The nicest present – or the strangest
  4. A group photo with everyone who’s there
  5. The birthday girl or boy mid-laugh
  6. A photo from knee height
  7. The kitchen at midnight
  8. Someone giving a speech
  9. A toast with glasses raised
  10. The last slice of cake

Tips

Well prepared, relaxed on the day.

Tip 01

Put the code where people wait

At the bar, on the fridge, on the bathroom mirror: wherever people stand around for a moment, they scan.

Tip 02

Fewer photos for small groups

With 15 guests, 10 photos each is plenty. For big parties stick with 15 – otherwise the gallery gets cluttered.

Tip 03

The reveal as an encore

Set the reveal for the next morning. Whoever helps tidy up gets to look through the photos together straight away.

FAQ · Birthday

Frequently asked.

More answers in the FAQ

Does it work for a children’s birthday party?

Filmriss is made for guests with a phone – so more for the parents. It suits kids’ parties if the grown-ups take the photos.

Can I see the photos before my guests do?

No. Nobody sees a picture before the reveal, not even you as the host. That way the surprise is the same for everyone.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Filmriss is free, with no subscription and no ads.

Do my guests have to sign up?

No. They scan the QR code, enter a name and take photos right in the browser.

How long do the photos stay?

90 days after the reveal. After that they’re deleted automatically – so download everything in time.
