Occasion · New Year’s Eve · Free

The digital disposable camera for your New Year’s Eve party.

At midnight everyone holds their phone up – and by New Year’s Day nobody can find the photos. With Filmriss every shot of the night lands on one shared film. The gallery opens on the first day of the new year.

  • Guests don’t need an app
  • Original quality
  • 90-day gallery

How it works · New Year’s Eve

Three steps, zero effort on the day itself.

  1. 01Frame 1/3

    Create the event

In the app: name, cover, photos per guest. Set the reveal for New Year’s Day.

  2. 02Frame 2/3

    Snap through the night

Guests scan the code and take photos in their browser. No preview – so more fireworks, less screen.

  3. 03Gallery open

    Develop on New Year’s Day

On 1 January the gallery opens. The best start to the new year: reliving last night all over again.

You choose when the reveal happens – by default it’s 10 am the morning after.

Photo ideas for your guests

  4. A face lit by a sparkler
  5. The sky at 00:01
  6. The glasses of fizz just before the toast
  7. A guest writing down their resolutions
  8. The crowd out on the balcony
  9. The cheese board, nearly finished
  10. The first breakfast of the year

Tips

Well prepared, relaxed on the day.

Tip 01

Save a shot for midnight

Tell everyone beforehand: keep one photo back for midnight. Otherwise the film’s full before the fireworks start.

Tip 02

More photos for a long night

New Year’s Eve goes on. 15 to 20 photos per guest works well, so they last until morning.

Tip 03

Reveal on New Year’s afternoon

Not at 10 am: on 1 January, the afternoon is the best time to look back at the night.

More answers in the FAQ

Can I set the reveal for New Year’s Day?

Yes. You choose the time when you set things up. The default is 10 am the next day – for New Year’s Eve, the afternoon is a better bet.

What if the network’s overloaded at midnight?

The camera saves photos on the phone and uploads them as soon as there’s a connection again. Just make sure it’s open beforehand.

Do my guests need the app?

No. The QR code opens the camera in their browser, no account needed.

As the host, do I see the photos first?

No. Nobody sees a single shot before the reveal – not even you.

90 days after the reveal. After that they’re deleted automatically.
