In short
A reveal is the moment something hidden becomes visible. With photos, the idea goes back to the disposable camera: you only find out what's on the film once it has been developed. That wait is a big part of the fun.
In Filmriss, the reveal is built into the flow. During the event nobody sees a picture, not even their own: no preview, no deleting. According to How it works, the gallery opens for everyone at once, by default at 10 am the morning after. The host decides the exact time.

Example
The day after a wedding, guests are still gathered for a late breakfast. At 10 am the gallery opens, and everyone scrolls through the night's snapshots together, including the ones nobody remembers taking.
What to watch out for
- Tell guests in advance when the reveal will happen, so nobody assumes the photos are lost.
- Pick a time when most people are awake and have a moment to look.
- After the reveal, photos stay online for 90 days and are then deleted automatically (see the FAQ). Download your favourites in time.
